Obituary of Donal D. Lee, 1980:

Disabled veteran dies at 53.  Donal D. Lee, 53, of Beechwood Rd., Lake City Rt. 2, died at 2 a.m. Saturday at Oak Ridge Hospital.  He had been in ill health for 15 years.

He was a Navy veteran of World War II.  Lee was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church and the Disabled American Veterans (DAV).

He was a native of Crossville.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Gary (Evelyn) Bullock of Cartersville, Ga. And Mrs. Vernon (Betty) Jacks of Lake City Rt. 2; a son, Calvin Wesley Lee of Lake City Rt. 2; three sisters, Mrs. Irene Ford and Mrs. Ruby Cumby of Crossville and Mrs. Reta Womack of Tullahoma; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday at Beech Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Kenneth Seeber and the Rev. William L. Thomas officiating.  Burial was in Pleasant View Cemetery.
