Retired Clinton Merchant Dies, Funeral At Home
A successful retired merchant and business leader of Clinton, died this week while his wife was a patient in a Knoxville hospital. James C. Argubright, 77, died Aug. 15, at his home at 304 Washington Avenue after being confined there for rest and treatment as the result of failing health. His wife, Mrs. Etta Key Argubright was a patient at East Tennessee Baptist Hospital at the time of his death. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the home, the Rev. Arthur ? officiating. Burial was in Sunset Cemetery. Survivors include this widow, one daughter, Mrs. Joe E. Hannah of Clinton, two sons, Fletcher C., Arrow Rock, Mo., and Sam W. Argubright Sr., of Memphis, and three grandchildren. Holley Funeral Home of Clinton was in charge
