Obituary of Myrtle Smith Allred, 1995:
Myrtle Smith Allred, 82, of Norris, died Friday in Regency Health Care Center.
Mrs. Allred was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Sarah Ezell Smith; and husband, Charlie L. Allred.
Survivors include sisters, Martha Tudor of Union County and Leaomia Bible of Halls; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was Sunday in Holley-Gamble Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Clyde Gray officiating. Graveside service and burial were Monday in Mount Olive Cemetery.
Holley-Gamble Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
