Obituary of Patsy Carol Allen, 1994:
Patsy Carol Allen, 53, of Rockwood died Tuesday in the University of Tennessee Medical Center.
Her father, Carson Wilson, sisters, Lila Adcock and Jackie Colston, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Allen was a member of Caney Ford Baptist Church and a lifelong resident of Roane County.
She was a Parent Involvement Coordinator for Head Start of Roane County and Loudon counties for the past 21 years.
Survivors include her mother, Sylvia Wilson of Oliver Springs; two children, Kathy and husband, Doug Cox, of Hixson; Keith and wife Buffy Allen of Rockwood; eight grandchildren, Taylor, Mackenzie, Spencer and Madison Cox and Jessica, Bryant, Zachary and Isaac Allen; three brothers, Bud, Johnny and Keith Wilson, all of Oliver Springs; four sisters, Jimmie Jackson of Oliver Springs; Sally Jenkins of Petros; Mary Goble of Ontario, Canada and Carlene Sowers of Andersonville.
A memorial service was Thursday in the chapel of Sharp Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Plemons officiating. The body was cremated.
