Obituary of Milton R. Ailor, 1990:

Milton R. Ailor, 78, 7802 E. Road 300 South, died at 11:10 am Sunday, Sept. 23, 1990, in Howard Community Hospital, Kokomo, Ind.

He was born Dec. 23, 1911, in Maynardville, Tenn. and grew up in Anderson County. A son of Leon and Nola (Sand) Ailor. Nov. 28, 1936 he married Bonnie Melton, who survives.

Ailor retired in 1975 as a fork truck driver form Cabot Corp. He was a member of United Steel Workers Local 2958. He attended Bethel Tabernacle Church.

Also surviving are two sons, Richard and Gerald E. “Jerry” Ailor, both of Kokomo; six daughters, Mrs. Michael (Creola) Hundley, Mrs. Donald (Vivian) Mason and Mrs. Ray (Terri) Bass, all of Kokomo, Mrs. Robert (Margie) Matthew of West Chester, Ohio, Beulah Powell of Miami and Mrs. Larry (Sue) Wilson of Galveston; a brother, Jim Ailor of Sharpsville; a sister, Beatrice Pyle of Clinton, Tenn.; a half-brother, Cecil Ailor of Oveida, Fla.; 18 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. A grandchild, four brothers, two sisters and two half-sisters preceded him in death.

Services were held Wednesday in Bethel Tabernacle Church. The Rev. David Cornelius officiated. Burial was in Sunset Memory Gardens.
