Obituary of Dorothy Poly Abel, 1996:
Dorothy Poly Abel, 80, of Clinton died Sunday, Feb 11, 1996, in Methodist Medical Center.
Abel was a member of Saint Therese Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Abel, Sr., and a sister, Clarice Poly.
Survivors are a daughter, Judith Harmon, and her husband, Robert Harmon, of Clinton; a son, Robert Abel, Jr., and his wife, Kathleen Abel of Heiskell; three brothers, Howard Poly of Clinton, Lloyd Poly of Kissimmee, Fla., and Edward Poly of Pompano Beach, Fla.; a sister, Neva Poly of Meadville, Pa.; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Feb 13, in Saint Therese Catholic Church, Clinton with Father Dan Whitman officiating. Interment was in Cochranton Cemetery in Cochranton, Pa. Family received friends 7-9pm Monday at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home.
