	William Carroll DeRossett, b. abt 1828, Tenn, son of Elijah and Nancy. Married Catherine "Kitty" Butram, dau of Elizabeth and Willis Butram, June 28, 1853, White County. William was a mail carrier, with a route from Cumberland County to White and Putnam Counties. He was listed in the 1860 and 1870 Censuses for Cumberland County, but not thereafter. Children: Sarah A. Willis Nancy Elizabeth (1857-1931) Emma Margaret E. Mary M. Patsy Robert G.C. (male)
	Jasper Newton DeRossett (1879-1867), son of Nancy Elizabeth and grandson of William C., with wife Nora Letie Pitman (1881-1973) and dau DeSala Elizabeth (1903-1980).
