The Scott County Historical Society meets every other month except in February. Meetings are scheduled for 7PM on the second Thursday of Aug, Oct, Dec, April, and Jun. Meetings are held in the C.C. Newport Community Room of the First Trust and Savings Bank on Main Street in Oneida, TN, unless otherwise announced in advance. A newsletter is published quarterly. The Scott County Historical Society's Newsletters have, through the years, been compiled into book form and are available for sale. The society has no paid staff. Volunteers try to answer all correspondence but, as a rule, do not do research. If you write the society, please include a self-addressed stamped envelope.
