• John and Telitha West Family bible (1873-1954).  Unfortunately, the bible is in extremely bad shape. There is water damage. The cover and binding are missing as well as the masthead page; therefore, the copyright date for the bible is missing. It appears many of the birth, death, and marriage dates were entered close to the time they occurred as there are noticeable differences in the handwriting style as well as different shades of fading in the blue ink

West, of Paint Rock, Scott Co, TN.  Some of the pages shown here are transcriptions done by Christine from the original bible while other pages are copies of the original bible.  Unfortunately, I was unable to see the original bible.
