SCHLICHER, OSLER, MONTGOMERY
I am searching for information about my ggf August Augustus (Gus)Schlicher. He was married to Mary Ella (Ellie) Osler. They had sixchildren that I know of: Barnie, Fred, John, Irene, May and Clarence.One of Ellie's sisters, Mattie, was married to a Montgomery & hadties to Rhea Co., TN. Gus and Ellie were in Hoxie, Kansas in 1902. Family lore has it that Gus was an engineer who spoke sevenlanguages. He was supposedly imprisoned during WWI in a Germanprisoner of war camp in East Tennessee or North Georgia. No oneseems to know what happened to him after that. Any clues will beappreciated!!!
