Seeking family of Ferriby CASTEEL, born 14 June 1823 in TN. Shemarried, first, to Silas LIDDLE and had two children in MO. Thefamily was in the 1850 census in St. Francois Co, MO, living close toGreenberry CASTEEL and Freeland CASTEEL. George CASTEEL and AndrewCASTEEL were nearby in Madison Co. Ferriby married, second, to HenryLANGLEY and had two more sons. Ferriby married, third, to CorneliusKIRKENDALL and had one son. Ferriby cannot be found in the 1860 or1870 censuses, but by 1880 she was living in Madison Co, MO. Deathdate/place unknown. Parents unknown, but the possible CASTEELbrothers were all born and married in Rhea Co, TN. Can anyone helpme connect Ferriby with this family or provide any additional clues?

I am researching my g-g-g-g-grandparents, Edward WEST (b. 1818) andhis wife Sidda HUMPHREYS (b. 1823) who died in Polk County, TN. They are listed in the Rhea County 1870 census with their children. Two of the children Jonathan G. West and George W. West married sisters surnamed Gilliam. I am also looking for information on Edward and Sidda's daughter Louise (b. 1847) who may have been married to Moses Stewart. Looking for information on parents of Samuel Ruth and Della Owen.Samuel and Della were married in Knoxville on 9/27/1895. They livedin Dayton, Rhea County, TN. Samuel died in an accident while buildinga railroad bridge. Della remarried a Swafford (?) and moved toFlorence Alabama. STARNES, STARNS, WINTERS

Seeking information about the ancestors, spouses and descendants ofNicholas STARNES, who, shortly after the Revolutionary War, movedfrom southwest VA to Rhea County, TN. Nothing further is known ofhim until he was married to Barbara WINTERS by Daniel RICE, Justiceof the Peace, on October 10, 1816. Nicholas was then 61 years old. Barbara was in her mid twenties to early thirties, suggesting thiswas a second marriage for Nicholas. (The DAR lists her birth as1784; death, 1861.) A pension claim statement of March, 1860approximates her birth as late as 1793.They moved from Rhea County, TN, about five or six years after theirmarriage, to Blount County, AL.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

FOSTER, Chester & Louisa, my family records indicate that They wereboth members of the Grandview Presbyterian church.
