Love your guestbook, I was born in Chattanooaga, and lived in Spring City for 5 years until moving to Michigan, but Spring City has always been the home base. My father, Tilghman Palmer Rhea, (deceased, 1971) was from Mississippi, but he said we had a county in Tennessee named after some of our ancestors, and that some of them fought in the Civil War. He died before any of us were old enough to realize how important such geneological information would be. He has a grandson now and my sister gave him our maiden name Rhea as his surname because he was the only male to carry it on. My mother doesn't have any information about his family except he had a brother Robert who lived in Texas and had two boys, and he had a younger brother Faye who died when he was a child after falling from a tree.
