News From your County Coordinator

 

July 6, 2008 Exciting news!!!  As many of you know, we have an outstanding cemetery transcription for Perry County.  The downfall has been that there is no way to search for a person, when you do not know what cemetery they are buried in.  No More!  We have a brand new website that we will be uploading the cemetery inventories and we will be able to search by county or even throughout the entire state of Tennessee.

In order to load the rest of the cemeteries to this new site, we need volunteers who would proofread what is uploaded.  Please contact Jan Monnin, your Perry County TnGenWeb coordinator if you would be willing to help.
July 3, 2008 Hi Everyone.  I am Jan Monnin and the new volunteer Perry County Tennessee County Coordinator.   I am looking forward to making this the best website for Perry County Genealogy Resources.  I encourage anyone with information to share to contact me.  If you check out the headings in the Table of Contents below, you will see the kind of information that I am looking for.  I will post information promptly upon receipt.  Please note that I do not live in Tennessee, so I am unable to personally look up records for anyone.
