News From your County Coordinator

August 18, 2008	Just wanted to make sure that everyone saw the link to the 1900 federal census on the family search labs site. This is a transcription and index PLUS the actual images. Click here to visit the site. When you get to the site, click on "record search". Then click on the US on the map and up will come a list of current US database information available.
July 29, 2008	Hi Everyone! I just added 2 ways to search this site. Go check it out!
July 23, 2008	We just added the 1862 IRS tax list for Perry County Tennessee. There's about 400 names on the list. You are sure to find your ancestor here. Check it out!
July 6, 2008	Exciting news!!! As many of you know, we have an outstanding cemetery transcription for Perry County. The downfall has been that there is no way to search for a person, when you do not know what cemetery they are buried in. No More! We have a brand new website that we will be uploading the cemetery inventories and we will be able to search by county or even throughout the entire state of Tennessee. In order to load the rest of the cemeteries to this new site, we need volunteers who would proofread what is uploaded. Please contact Jan Monnin, your Perry County TnGenWeb coordinator if you would be willing to help.
July 3, 2008	Hi Everyone. I am Jan Monnin and the new volunteer Perry County Tennessee County Coordinator. I am looking forward to making this the best website for Perry County Genealogy Resources.
