FEB. 27, 1985Funeral services for Ima Willie Jarman, 87, were conducted March 1 at 2p.m. at the Slayden Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Howard Lee officiating. Burial was in the Jarman Cemetery.
Jarman, a resident of Cumberland Furnace, died Wednesday in Good-lark Hospital in Dickson.
A native of Montgomery County, Jarman was born Feb. 15, 1898, the son of William Robert and Huler Allen Jarman.
He was a farmer and a member of the Slayden Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Katie Waynick Jarman; seven sons, Lester Jarman and Carl Jarman, Westland, Mich., Corbin Jarman and Ima W. Jarman Jr., Cumberland Furnace, Ralph Jarman, Slayden, Tony Jarman, Charlotte, and Edgar Ray Jarman, Lubbock, Texas; three daughters, Ester Williams, West-land, Mich., Dorothy Mifier, Dickson, and Ada Leegon, Erin; 29 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Taylor Funeral Home, Dickson, was in charge of arrangements.
