Stella Reagan

Stella J. Ragan, 86, Rt. 1, Palmyra. A homemaker, she was born
Aug. 23, 1897. She was the daughter of the late Wylie Jackson and
the late Elizabeth Powers Jackson, and the wife of the late Luther
Ragan, who died in March 1983.
She was a charter member of Tarsus Methodist Church.
Services held at McReynolds-Nave Chapel, burial in Ragan family
cemetery.
Survivors: a son, Marshall L. Ragan, Nashville; two daughters,
Elizabeth Patterson, Nashville and Peggy Uglow, Roanoke, Va.; two
brothers, Herschel Jackson and Claude Jackson, both of Clarksville; a
sister, Pauline Trotter, Clarksville; seven grandchildren; and seven
great-grandchildren.
