Jonathon TIPTON (b. Nov. 22, 1802 Wash Co Tn), was the son of Stephen TIPTON (b. 1781 Wash Co Tn) & Rachel MURRAY. Jonathon TIPTON was married to Margaret LEVAN (m. Sept. 11, 1852 Grundy Co Tn), and they had a son, namely, Henry Monroe TIPTON (b. 1868 Grundy Co Tn), who married Susan McNEELY (m. Dec. 8, 1892 Union Co Il.) and they had ason, namely, Francis Abron TIPTON (b Jan. 3 1898 Anna Il.), who married Lillian Irene PAYNE (m. 1903 Ewardsville Il.). I am looking for information regarding the brothers and sisters of these individuals, especially, Henry Monroe TIPTON and his son, Francis Abron TIPTON.

Looking for information on Moses GUESS/GUEST who was born in Tenn. abt. 1800 and married Nancy HALE of Washington Co., Tenn. Nancy was daughter of Joseph HALE and Susanna HOLLIN. Have recently started researching my husband's family. Looking forinformation on the John GOODMAN family of Rowan or Edgecomb Co., NC.Settled in the part of Franklin County that became Grundy Co. He had 4 children (wife unknown to me): Solomon King GOODMAN (m. Elizabeth__); Abigail GOODMAN (m. Barnnaby BURROW); Henry GOODMAN; and William GOODMAN (m. Mary __). My great grandmother was raised as Lula Mae CAGLE born 1871 andlisted on the 1880 census as daughter of Preston and Sarah CAGLE ofWarren County. Other records list her name as Lou McFARLAND and there is a family story that she was adopted and raised by the CAGLEs. She married John BATES around 1888. They lived in Tracy City. If any one has any history regarding her please forward.

George Washington DAVIS and wife Julia A. UNKNOWN in White City/Pryors Ridge. George 5/1861 - 3/29/1911, Juia 5/1864 - 1950. Looking for info on Julia's last name, and info on their children. Daughters are Jennie S., Mary J., Annie F., and Mattie Ethel, don't know their married names. One of them married a NOLAN, and had a child: Fate NOLAN. Searching for any possible connections to my COLLINS ancestors.  My great grandfather was Leroy Jefferson COLLINS, born 1857, somewhere in Tennessee. Oral history says he was a physician. Family bible pages show his father was Lew COLLINS (Lewis ?) probably born about 1830. His mother is shown as Evaline (possibly Earline). Leroy Jefferson COLLINS married twice. First to Amanda May HURST on November 22, 1876 in Grand Junction, they moved to Harrisburg,Arkansas. Leroy and Amanda's children were:Henry Leroy COLLINS, B. I am trying to find out the parents of John HATFIELD, b. JUL 1854 unknown county and married Katie SHADRICK b. Jan 1855 in the Tracy City area. He died in Jul 1914 of smallpox in Okmulgee, Oklahoma and was buried in the Henryetta Cemetary. She was crippled from a severe scare caused by Union troops as a child.
