was from Bradley Co. know or think his mother name was Maude and that he has

Would like information on the Joseph McMillan
who was in Bradley Co., Tn. & died there just prior to 1880. There were
two Joseph McMillans in Bradley Co. and I think one of them was my great-great-grandfather.
His dau., Mary McMillan married Thomas Jefferson Bates and they were in
Polk Co., Ar. in 1860. Thanks

In Aug 1909, Levi BRANSON, a Civil war veteran
from Dandridge, Jefferson County, TN, married his second wife, Mary Emiline
NIPPER, in Cleveland, Bradley County, TN. They had 2 children, a daughter
and a son named, Claude Nipper Branson, born 9 Sept 1912. Levi died in Tecumseh,
OK, 19 May 1922 at the home of a son from his first marriage, Beecher Meek
Branson. Anyone have any information about this family? salina

Am searching for parents of Zachariah TANKSLEY
b abt 1769 who was listed in the 1840 Bradley Co census. In his household
was an older woman, probably his wife, and a younger man and woman with small
children whom I believe to be my gg-grandpaents, Zorobable TANKSLEY and
Cynthia Jane GARNER who married in Rhea Co on 3 Jul 1828. I am also looking
for proof that Zorobable was the son of Zachariah. This has been one of my
brickwalls for several years, so if anyone can give me a hint, I would be
most grateful.

Looking for information on Richard Lawson married
to Rhoda Dunn in Green Co., TN. and moved to Lauderdale Co., AL then to

Seeking information about Deurrett Everett who
married Hannah GILLISPIE. Was Thomas EVERETT who married Martha Jane JACK
on Feb 25, 1841 their son? Thomas and Martha lived in the Candies Creek District
near Cleveland Tenn. Thomas was born June 24, 1814 in Tenn. Thomas founght
for the Union in the 3rd Tenn Cavalry. His son, Benjamin fought in the 8th

Need names of the parents of Lemuel CARTWRIGHT,
born July 29,1818 in Bradley or McMinn County. Lemuel married Nancy Mount,
daughter of John and Sarah Cates Mount, in 1838. Couple is listed in Bradley
County 1840 census. Moved to Carroll County GA in 1846 and on to TX in 1847.

My g-g-grandfather, James Weir HUNT was born
17 Aug 1871 near Cleveland, TN. His death certificate does not list the name
of his father. His mother died when he was 3 yrs old, possibly in Indiana.
Her name was listed on his death cert as Jane WIGGANS. Seeking any information

Need info on my G-Grandpa, Arthur Buford COLLINS.
He came from Co. Cork, Ireland when he was 3y/o,(1880's?) They may or may
not have been from Cork. Need DOB and parents' names. He died late '50's,Cleveland.
I need his 1st wife's name. He remarried Addie(?). Children of 1st marriage:
Paul, Wayne, Bessie,and Luther Edmond (Ed-my grandpa). There's a F, maiden
name DOUGLASS (said"Doo-glahs") who came from Scotland(late 1800's?). Possibilities:
A.B.'s 1st wife or his mother? And need name of David Franklin BROWN's parents.
David was born in Bradley Co., poss. 1880's, died of typhoid fever in the
early '20's. His wife, Ollie Olena RICHMOND BROWN, was the daughter of
Samuel M. RICHMOND, born 1843, married to Martha Ann WEBB-1871. I hear there's
Cherokee blood in the BROWN or RICHMOND family. Any ideas? David & Ollie
BROWN's children were born on a W. Bradley Co.farm: Ortha, Ona, Wayne, Winston
and Laura Beatrice (Bea-my Grandma). Info on these families or their origins

Looking for McClellan/McClelland Said to have
lived in Bradley Co. in the early 1800's intermarried with Blankenship family.

I am looking for the parents of my great great
great grandfather, Sam H. Bean. He was married to Caroline B. Hayes in Bradley
Co., Cleveland, Tennessee. I have their marriage certificate but it does
not list their parents, only the date of marriage 1878 and their children.
I was told that Caroline was of Cherokee descent. I am stuck here at this
previous generation of my family.....Please help.

I am looking for information on Jesse F. JONES.
In the 1850 Census of Bradley Co. it lists him as having a son, William age
14 years. Is this the William David JONES that married Elizabeth GRISHAM
d/o of John GRISHAM also found in the 1850 Census? I have not found the
marriage record for these two but they would have married between 1858 and

A baby boy was adopted by a Stubbs family from
middle Tennessee in 1926. It is believed that this baby was born on May 29,
in Chattanooga. The mother was supposedly a well-known, perhaps even famous,
musician, a singer. The daughter of this baby boy today desires to know more
about her true family for health reasons. We believe that the Eaves family
that lived in Chattanooga at that time knew the circumstances of the adoption,
perhaps even were instrumental in the process. Unfortunately they are deceased.

WETSON/WILSON? b. c1816 It could be WILSON on the 1860 Bradley Co., TN. census.
Tresa's mother, Nancy WETSON/WILSON was living with them when The family moved
from Monroe Co., TN to Bradley Co. I believe Nancy WETSON?WILSON was a widow
before 1840, maybe 1830. There is a Nancy WILSON and family in the 1830 Monroe
Co. census that fit those approxiamite ages I have for Tresa and Nancy. Is
there anyone searching the WILSON's that were in Monroe Co? Need assist!!

Jesse DODSON was the son of Jesse SR. and Mary
STUBBLEFIELD. SR. was an Indian Trader in eastern TN 1811. JR is in Jackson
Co.ALA in 1830 and in Polk Co.TN in 1840. He is not the Rev. Jesse or Jr.
from McMinn Co. 1822-1843.My Jesse may have been in Eastanelle Church 1830s.
He is in Rusk Co.TX 1850. I would appreciate any help.
