1. If there is an assistant county or special project coordinator, or if the current coordinator has a candidate for host, that person will be given first consideration for the host position.

2. If no host candidate is available, next preference will be given to individuals who have previously expressed an interest in the county.

3. An !!Adopt Me!! icon will placed on the County Selection page for available counties and on the Special Project page for available special projects. (Note that all special projects are owned by TNGenNet, Inc.) Consideration will be given to past and present TNGenWeb-USGenWeb hosts along with the general public.

4. A new host will be selected based on interest in the county, available resources, technical skills and willingness to comply with TNGenWeb Project requirements.

5. IMPORTANT
   New applicants are required to submit their address and phone number and will receive a phone call for verification.

Final determination for selection of new county and special project coordinators and assistant coordinators rest solely with the State Coordinator. For more information, please contact the State Coordinator.
